B’s photo diary: 02 December, 2015

On this day I cooked my 2nd Italian dish. It is called “Caponata” and my cooking book says “Originally a classic Sicilian dish, Caponata is now prepared and enjoyed throughout Italy. It is often served warm or at room temperature as part of an antipasto platter or to accompany meat, and can be prepared in advance–the flavours will only improve.”
